quite a short week, only worked for 3 days! they 'retrenched' us for the 1st 2 days of the week, quite happy, but no money of cos! met enen and qifang on monday for a nice chat after a long long disappearance of the both of them... finally we met up! haha... quite fun but qifang had to rush off for work at the lousy cafe/bar at oriental. i wonder when's the next time i can see enen!!! hee, come back more often gal! oh ya, saw mr chung too. he asked why arent we working. haha... then we replied by asking "why are u here then? dont u need to work?" he was like "ITS HOLIDAYS NOW!!!" then turn away and rushed off, in his usual style of walking la... we are really shut off from the schooling life!
life's getting very mundane. its like practically working 5 days a week, facing piles of poorly completed form and the lousy computer screen, using the almost inkless red-leaf pen provided, going for lunch, toilet/pantry breaks, walking in and out of the supervisor's cubicle. there are probably many more newcomers coming in soon, but i suggest that the govt educate the public so that they can fill in those foms properly and accurately or maybe enforce the e-filing law, thus saving on manpower in the future generations. but on a lighter note, the friends or workmates there are wonderful pple. hope i will enjoy the training (yet another one) on the typing of standard letters this coming mon.
many pple are going overseas during this long vacation, including mama sim who's happily holidaying in europe/france/paris/london/etc etc. i haf no idea where's she's going... see her in like 3 weeks time! enjoy urself. quite a few friends are travelling around. -jealous jealous- i think my next trip to faraway countries would probably be after my uni studies or after i start working for a yr or so. it depends on the economy during that time.
talking abt university, i still havent submitted my application yet. haha... slow huh? but im still deciding... choices choices choices... but more or less confirmed. after tht, still gotta worry whether i can get into the course of my choice, the accommodation, tuition fees etc etc... many more things to worry abt! but i guess its part and parcel of life...
ambivalence.
