wowww... had great fun yesterday! went to both e zoo and e night safari! the last time i've been to e zoo is J1, still not too long ago as compared to sis! wahahaha... cool~
went for lunch at Yum Cha at chinatown... not too bad, VERY crowded as usual. sis's pal, claudia thought the dim sum wasnt too bad... or maybe she's just trying to please us... hahaa... chatted quite a bit and realised she went to the NTU exchange programme talk on wed, which i didnt want to attend with the xuan, ying & fred! hahaa... if not, i might have met her already! tok quite abit at the restaurant, until i was abit tired... been slping late and waking up early for many days! we then headed for e zoo. slept on e cab. haha...
it was the 1st time that i bought tics to enter e zoo! it was always sch excursions in e past! man it was pretty expensive! but we purchased the park hopper one (zoo & night safari combined) which is much cheaper than buying the tic alone!
met many animals, (like duh!) i always like those animal shows... intelligent animals they were! fun fun! but it got pretty tiring and we decided to leave out the children's world (which was the highlight in e past) and those goats, pony, cows and chickens... hahaa... the elephant show was rather impressive, didnt noe those giant, clumsy animals could do such stunts! woohoo~
night safari was the highlight of the night! fun! it was like walking on a haunted trail, pretty dark! scary too, especially in the mangrove walk & the flying cat trail where bats and flying squirrels are right above your heads! the flying squirrels were paticularly impressive! can u imagine squirrels gliding though air? woooh weee... they can open themselves into this square-like thingy (like humans doing star jumps) then off they fly! pretty scary though when they fly so low! me and sis took caution with our every step! can i magine stepping or hitting some bats??? yiiiks! claudia wasnt afraid i guess... she can still stand there and observe closely! hahaa... walking on e 34m suspension bridge was pretty fun too though it was shaking mildly! i didnt really dared to look down, only having occasional peeps through small gaps... the 'creatures of e night' show was excellent! it was pretty exciting to see nocturnal animals coming alive! the highlight of the show was this person trying to act to lose something and in e end they revealed that a huge, long python hiding amongst the audience seats! luckily i chose the right seat! -phew- i cant imagine my reaction if i were to be sitting there! the day ended with the tram ride round the night safari! pretty cooling, with animals getting real close to u! nice :)
i would recommend u all to go to the night safari at least once in ur lifetime! hahaa... its a pretty enriching experience!
